Marinez Santa Ines

Marinez (“Ness”) is SecondMuse’s Manager, HR, based in San Jose, CA. She leads Recruiting Operations and oversees the day-to-day execution of HR, spanning compliance, onboarding, performance management, and internal systems. Marinez also manages multiple company websites and platforms and co-leads SecondMuse’s Ways of Working group, helping translate values into clear, actionable ways of working across the organization.

Known for her operational rigor and cross-functional approach, Marinez partners closely with leaders and teams to streamline processes, reduce friction, and build systems that support people doing complex, mission-driven work.

“Good work with good people” is what drives Marinez. She’s motivated by building people-centered infrastructure, contributing to something larger than herself, and being part of a community aligned around a shared purpose.

Outside of work, Marinez balances life with her two daughters, ages 20 and 6. She prioritizes movement, structure, and time outdoors, often starting her mornings with a run or kickboxing to reset before the day begins.
