Liam Betts Virott

Liam is an AI Product Manager at SecondMuse based in the Bay Area, California. In his role, he manages and contributes to SecondMuse’s AI platforms. His work currently focuses on the proposal platform: he is writing and supporting proposals alongside growth and program teams while also building, measuring, and improving the proposal writing platform.

Liam believes in human-first design. With a background in both technology and the humanities, he wants to create tools that empower people, allowing SecondMuse to speed up the process of delivering support to those solving the urgent problems facing our world. Above all, he is working to understand how AI can be used ethically, sustainably, and meaningfully in order to help SecondMuse deliver on its mission.

Liam holds a BS in Computer Science and an MA in English from Vanderbilt University, where he completed a thesis on short stories. He is a fiction writer, an obsessive reader and loves to talk books with anyone. His favorite novel is Piranesi.
